An unsuspecting little girl ventures through a deep dark wood full of lurking witches, trolls and giants, to visit her best friend for tea. Then a big bad wolf appears to escort her, nobly protecting his prey from the dangers of the eponymous wood. But the best friend is not quite what the wolf is expecting! This fairy-tale mash-up with a twist combines text and illustrations to create a witty balance between terror and humour.
